Brevite Jumper Review (My Experience)

brevite jumper front look

I too own a DSLR and know it’s hard to care for it and other camera accessories while traveling. That’s why I did some research and found Brevite Jumper compact camera backpack perfect for me.

Now, you may be wondering whether you should buy this backpack for your camera and appurtenances or not. In this case, you are on the right page because I am about to share my experience here after using this bag for months. And, next to Brevite Jumper Review, I will be giving a Brevite Runner vs Jumper comparison as well.

Design

It is a minimalist traditional backpack on the outside but has camera protection sections on the inside. These padded detachable sections and multiple straps make this pack exceptionally designed. And, if you are concerned about the color then there are ten tones of the bag are available online.

Material

Talking about the material, it has 600D and 200D polyester lining on the outside and inside respectively. These fabrics have water-repellent properties and the ability to resist tear, making the bag good for outings. Moreover, these fabrics deliver a soft texture on the exterior and interior surfaces which I found cool for me.

Although, I know that some people like a rugged and hard outer surface in order to protect their lenses. But believe me, along with its soft texture this bag has paddings at every corner to keep your essentials safe from hits and knocks.

Base, Back, and Straps

As you can see in the picture that the bag comes with a firm base and adjustable carrier straps. These straps can be used to hold a mat or tripod while going out for photography. Also, this kind of feature is very rare in camera backpacks and that’s what makes Brevite bags different from others.

Not only with carrier straps but Brevite also made the Jumper bag better by providing the trolley sleeve at the back. This wide sleeve can easily be attached to your luggage bag handles and reduces your load. Furthermore, a fine narrow channel can be observed in the middle of the bag’s back, providing air circulation. And, not to mention that the back has paddings thus carrying the bag is super-comfortable.

To boot, a secret pouch is given on the backside of the pack where you can cache your passport, cards, and money. This secure pocket keeps the belongings safe from thieves while roaming in crowded places.

Coming to shoulder straps, these are neither too wide nor too narrow and come with paddings as well. Therefore, they will not be going to chafe into your shoulder muscles while carrying the bag.

Compartments

There are two zipper pockets present at the front of the Brevite Jumper backpack. One of them is a utility pocket whereas the second one is a cube camera compartment.

The utility pocket becomes very much organizable with four mesh slots present inside it. Therewithal, the slots can be used to carry spare batteries, chargers, memory cards, and more.

Cube Camera Pocket

The cube pocket is present at the front and can be accessed by the second zipper given just above the utility pocket. It can be seen that there are a number of detachable padded dividers present inside this compartment. These dividers keep the accessories safe and allow you to organize the lenses and camera in a better way.

Furthermore, you can take out your camera anytime without opening this compartment. How?

You can see in the above picture that zipper access is given on the left side of the backpack. All you need to do is open the zipper and you will have a way into the camera slot of the cube compartment. So, just take out your camera, click at the moment, and keep it back in no time.

Upper Half Compartment

Yes, a half compartment is structured just above the Cube camera pocket which is meant to carry your jacket and other requisites. Plus, a small zipper pouch and open sleeve are given inside this pocket, meant to hoard keys and other expensive objects.

The best thing about this bag is the divider between the upper compartment and cube pocket is also detachable. Hence, you can detach this divider to connect both the compartments in order to make a single space.

Laptop Pocket

A separate laptop section is basically the last pocket of the Brevite Jumper backpack. It is completely padded and has a waterproof zipper closure to keep your 15″ laptop safe from hits and water respectively.

Over and above those amazing storage sections, a side pocket is present along with a gripping strap on the pack. You can hold a hiking stick or tripod in this pocket and grip it with a strap present just above it. And, if you are preferring holding a tripod with bottom carrier straps then simply use this pocket to hold the water bottle.

  • Water-repellent
  • Direct and quick access pocket for camera
  • Carrier straps at the bottom
  • Separate laptop section
  • Air circulation channel at the back
