What Is 300D Polyester?
Here, ‘D’ stands for Danier which is a unit of measure for the fibers’ mass density. Talking about 300D polyester, it is environment-friendly, thick, lightweight, sturdy, and water-repellent fabric. Due to these amazing properties, North Face uses 300D polyester fabric in most of its backpacks to deliver a better experience and quality.

North Face Aurora Backpack Review
Aurora is made up of 100% 300D polyester fabric and comes with a number of pockets. The main compartment of this bag is the most appealing part as it comes with wrap-around zipper closure. The inner lining of this compartment is really soft and has a padded sleeve inside.
Moreover, an additional zippered pocket is given just behind the main compartment where you can hold extra gears. Also, a fleece-lined hidden pocket is present at the front bottom. You can use this one to hoard your expensive items.
And, not to mention that the backpack has an open hidden section as well.
Along with these features, the backpack offers great adjustability for your back. So, you can carry it for hours without getting any muscle ache. Here, wrapping up my short North Face Aurora backpack review.
Volume & Dimensions: 22L and 32*19*46 cm
North Face Isabella Backpack Review
Both, Isabella and Aurora are made of the same fabric but Isabella comes with more pockets. As you can see in the picture, there is a zipper pouch given on the sleeve inside the main compartment. Unlike Aurora, there is no wrap-around zipper opening of the large compartment as it has a linear zipper closure.
Plus, a second compartment is present just behind the main one and a zippered pouch just behind the second one. Because of this extra space, you can avail carrying extra requisites for yourself.
And yes, it also has a hidden front bottom pocket and an open section on it just like the previous one.
Coming down to the back structure and the straps, it is also the same as Aurora. And, that was the North Face Isabella backpack review in a short passage.
Volume & Dimensions: 17L and 29*21*48 cm
North Face Electra Backpack Review
Electra is a small backpack, also made up of 300D polyester. It comes with a single compartment only having a linear zipper closure. Yes, there is a padded section in it but has no other zipper pouch or pocket inside.
Like the previous ones, Electra has a hidden front pocket and an open fleece section for extra storage. Along with them, a small zippered pouch is given just behind the main compartment.
Moreover, the ergonomic designs of the back and straps are the same as the above ones but there is no sternum strap provided. It was a short North Face Electra backpack review for comparison purposes.
Volume & Dimensions: 11L and 25*15*40 cm
Common Among Aurora, Isabella, And Electra
All three backpacks are composed of 300D polyester fabric and are water-resistant. Plus, all of them have a secret pocket as well as an open hidden section at the front. Along with them, the side pocket is also present in each backpack. To boot, keyholders are present on the bags to hold keys and sunglasses.
Talking about the back, every North Face backpack has an ergonomic structure to deliver great comfort to the user. And, don’t forget about the padded straps which are meant to give a convenient hold on your shoulder muscles.

North Face Aurora vs Isabella vs Electra
On The Basis Of Budget
If your budget is low and you want to buy a North Face backpack then consider Aurora. It can be bought at an affordable of under 80$.
On The Basis Of Storage
Aurora again wins the competition on the basis of storage as it comes with 22 liters volume. This storage capacity is enough to carry it for outings and day trips.
On The Basis Of Number Of Pockets
If you prefer a backpack with multiple pockets then go with Isabella. Because it consists of many zippered pockets and inner sleeves making it an easily organizable bag.
My Opinion
If you ask which one I would buy then I will select Aurora among them. Why?
- First, it is a low-cost product that has all the features you can get in any other North Face bag.
- Secondly, this backpack offers 22 liters of storage which is more than Isabella and Electra.
- Third, there is a mesh pocket inside Aurora’s main pocket making it organizable and breathable.
- Fourth, it comes with a sternum strap which is not given in the Electra bag.
And, the most important feature that I really liked is the wrap-around zipper opening of its main compartment. This feature is appealing and will surely grab me some pretty compliments from my friends. To boot, this feature is unique as you can’t find this style in every second or third bag.
I know you may have thought of Isabella at first and searched for North Face Isabella backpack review due to its popularity. But The North Face has a lot more in the factory to surprise you.
That’s all from my side; hope you have found the Aurora vs Isabella vs Electra comparison helpful.
