Quick Navigation

Basic Design Of Kavu Rope Bags

Every Kavu Rope backpack shares a common design and functionality except its Paxton pack. It can be easily observed that every one of them has two exterior pockets, one with a zipper closure and one with a flap. Plus, two vertical compartments are also given in them at the same position. And, not to mention, the unique and trendy rope-styled strap with a buckle is the main essence of the Kavu Rope collection.

So, these were the similarities among the Rope series backpacks; now we will see the differences in detail. But before we move to that part, check out this overview table for a quick comparison.

Kavu Rope Bag vs Sling

Commons

Both of these Rope backpacks have 20 x 11 x 5 inches size and 10 liters overall volume. Plus, both shares the same weight of 8 pounds which makes them lightweight packs.

Differences

Kavu Regular Rope bag and Sling pack have almost the same prices but there is a difference between them. Kavu Rope Bag is made up of cotton canvas which is a lightweight yet strong fabric. In addition, canvas has water-resistant quality hence you can take this backpack with you during a light rain.

Whereas Kavu Rope Sling is composed of 600D polyester which is waterproof in nature. Therefore, Rope Sling can bear heavy rainfall to protect your gadgets and belongings, making it better than canvas. Not only this but 600D polyester has better strength and abrasion resistance when compared to canvas fabric. So, if two backpacks are available at the same price and one of them has better fabric then you know which would be picked.

Only design and structure are the same in these two backpacks as they have many differences. Let’s check them one by one for better analysis.

Differences

First, both of them have the same difference that we have read in the Kavu Rope Bag vs Sling, i.e., the material. The Kavu Rope Sling has been manufactured with 600D polyester whereas the Rope Mini with canvas fabric. Besides this, both of them have different storage capacities, dimensions, and weights. Sling has a capacity of 10 liters whereas Mini has 4 liters, plus, the Sling has a weight of 8 pounds whereas Mini has 6 pounds. Furthermore, due to these big differences, Kavu Rope Mini is $10 cheaper than the Sling pack.

These backpacks are very identical in many terms like material, fabric properties, and design. You can say that the Mini is actually the small version of the Rope bag, yet there are some differences.

Differences

First and most important, the Kavu Regular Rope bag has storage of 10 liters whereas the Mini Rope bag has 4 liters. Second, because of the size difference, the Regular Rope bag has 8 pounds weight and the Mini has 6 pounds. Third, just like the Kavu Rope Sling vs Mini, the Regular Rope bag is $10 more expensive than the Mini pack.

Kavu Paxton vs Sling

Commons

Unlike other comparisons, there is only one thing common in Paxton and Rope sling, i.e., the martial. Both of these backpacks are made up of 600D polyester therefore both have good strength and waterproof properties. Now, coming down to the differences let’s do Kavu Paxton vs Rope Sling comparison in detail.

Differences

Paxton doesn’t have the design like the Sling; Paxton has only one compartment and a mesh section inside it. Moreover, there is only one utility pocket given on the front of it which is far different from Sling. Along with these differences, Paxton has storage of 11 liters while the Sling has 10 liters, plus, Paxton is 1 pound heavier than Sling. As well as, Paxton is $10 more expensive than the Sling backpack because of the above reasons.

Verdict

I, personally, don’t recommend buying Paxton over any other Kavu Rope backpack because it is expensive for no good reason. And, if you ask which one would be good to buy between the Regular Rope bag and Sling, then I would suggest Sling. Because it has better fabric, i.e, 600D polyester at the same price, even though storage and design are the same. Now, if you only wish to buy a small Kavu bag then yes, you can go with the Mini Rope bag.
